This collection of vintage postcards and paper ephemera documents the 1939 New York World's Fair, themed "The World of Tomorrow." Included are illustrated brochures for the Ford, General Motors, Firestone, Heinz, Sinclair Dinoland, and Vatican Pavilion exhibits, alongside a large-format "Views of the New York World's Fair" souvenir book. A multi-fold poster for "Odd Fellows' Day, August 22, 1939" is also present. Postcards feature architectural views of the Pennsylvania Building, Elgin Watch Building, British Pavilion, Goodrich Building, and the Perisphere. Several postcards retain original 1939 postmarks and handwritten correspondence from the fairgrounds.
