This collection of eleven vintage postcards features a mix of hand-tinted photographic romantic scenes and lithographic topographical views from the Golden Age of Postcards. The sentimental cards include captions like "Tell me with your eyes, Love" and a sequential set depicting a Victorian couple. Topographical cards highlight Berlin landmarks such as the Brandenburg Gate, Royal Palace, and Victory Column, published by Verlag G. Mendelssohn. Two artistic cards from Vienna by Ch. Scolik feature Italian inscriptions and Art Nouveau borders. Seven cards are postally used with postmarks ranging from 1905 to 1911, while four remain unposted Deutsche Reichspost blanks.
