Title: Rare Huge Lalique "Stars" Dans la Nuit Post-War Factice Perfume Bottle Description: Designed by the world-renowned Rene Lalique (1860-1945), the Dans La Nuit perfume bottle (also known as the "Stars" bottle) is made of frosted and blue stained glass with a pressed-glass stopper that reads, "Dans la Nuit." It was made for the House of Worth. In 1924, with the house now operated by grandson Jacques Worth, the house ventured into the perfume market. The company's first fragrance developed by perfumer Maurice Blanchet, which was Dans La Nuit. Glass-maker Rene´ Lalique was commissioned to design the bottle. This particular item offered is a crystal pre-war production bottle signed, "Lalique France.".
