Title: Rare Bedroom Set by Martin Fineman for Multiplex Modern Description: Superb pair of Martin Fineman designed end tables and three-drawer dresser date to 1947. Made for the Multiplex Modern line of the Winchendon Furniture Company, all three are rendered in a light rose mahogany with single cabinet door along the front of the night stands and three-drawer pulls along the dressers. The original color and shows fantastic raised grain with embedded rubbing wax. Futuristic machined aluminum stylized spider drawer handles are original and retain their original finish. Raised on slim platform bases. This set is exceedingly rare and is considered Fineman's most sought-after model for this line. Martin Fineman designed furniture for Modernage and other firms during this post-war period. All three pieces have a tag reading "Multiplex Modern Designed by Martin Fineman 1947." Individual dimensions: Both nightstands are 18" wide by 19" deep and 30 1/2" tall. The chest of drawers is 36" wide by 19" deep and 28 1/2 tall.
