Nine Romance Theme Magic Lantern Slides, 19th Century,
Nine glass lantern slides in mahogany frames, five of which are hand-painted sliders and two are English color illustrations from the Catastrophe Series of a lover stealing a kiss and then falling into a moat by H. Lewis of 35 Broad St, Reading. One of a man meeting a woman in a manhole is inscribed W. Hayne in ink on the frame.
With a Magic Lantern show admission ticket.
