Title: Oil painting White horses in the forest Oleksiy Ivanyuk Description: NoAAA5600The Oil painting Canvas titled "White horses in the forest" is a vibrant and expressive portrayal of nature's embrace, capturing the tranquility and charm of a small woodland scene where animals and landscape merge into a harmonious whole. Painted with bold impasto technique, the canvas bursts with texture and energy, inviting the viewer to not only see but almost feel the lush foliage, the dappled ground, and the gentle presence of the animals. The strokes are unapologetically dynamic, and yet, within this wild energy, there is a distinct sense of serenity?of nature offering a comforting shelter. At the heart of the composition, two white goats stand peacefully amidst a field of yellow-greens and soft violets. Their simple forms provide a focal point that anchors the chaos of color around them. Against the vivid backdrop, their pale bodies radiate calmness, a contrast that highlights their quiet presence in the richness of the forest. They seem at ease, grazing and exploring, embodying the innocence and rhythm of life untouched by modern interruptions. Their placement suggests companionship, reinforcing the title's emphasis on coziness, as if the forest not only shelters them but welcomes them as part of its living soul. The surrounding forest is alive with motion and vibrancy. Layers of greens, yellows, purples, and deep blues form dense foliage, painted with swift, heavy strokes that twist and curve as though the trees themselves are in motion, stirred by wind or sunlight. The painter uses patches of brilliant crimson and orange, scattered almost like bursts of wildflowers or sunlight filtering through leaves, to inject warmth and vibrancy into the cool depths of the woodland. This interplay between warm and cool tones gives the forest both depth and energy, balancing mystery with comfort. Above, the sky is rendered in aquamarine tones, dotted with thick strokes of lighter turquoise and pale pink, contrasting the darker masses of the trees. The openness of the sky offers relief from the density of the foliage, suggesting fresh air, freedom, and expansiveness beyond the intimate enclosure of the forest. The painter's choice of bright, expressive colors elevates the ordinary woodland to a world of imagination, where reality blends with dreamlike intensity.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING ***
