Title: Oil painting Meadows near the mountains Oleksiy Ivanyuk Description: NoAAA5623The Oil painting Canvas titled "Meadows near the mountains" captures the majesty and vibrancy of a mountainous landscape with an energy that bursts through the artist's impasto technique. This painting is not a quiet depiction of nature but an explosion of color, texture, and movement, reflecting both the permanence of mountains and the fleeting brilliance of the surrounding life that flourishes at their feet. The bold palette of yellows, purples, greens, and fiery oranges transforms the canvas into a dynamic scene where the land itself seems alive, glowing with an inner radiance that speaks of nature's constant cycles and vitality. At the heart of the composition lies the radiant field that dominates the foreground, painted in glowing yellows and greens. This field, bathed in the warmth of imagined sunlight, feels expansive, stretching outward to embrace the viewer. The thick layers of paint, laid in expressive, spontaneous strokes, give the surface a tactile quality, as though each blade of grass and each patch of earth has been built up through physical energy and motion. A cluster of grazing animals, rendered in earthy browns, adds a sense of life to this glowing field, grounding the scene in pastoral familiarity while emphasizing the harmony between humans, animals, and the land. The middle ground reveals a landscape punctuated by patches of violet and deep blue, blending seamlessly with greens and hints of crimson. These darker tones provide contrast to the luminous yellow field, pulling the eye toward the rolling forms of hills and foliage. The use of purple here is especially striking, suggesting both shadow and depth, as well as the subtle beauty of landscapes viewed at changing hours of the day. Interspersed within this tapestry of color are touches of white, suggestive of cottages or distant buildings nestled quietly in nature's embrace, reminding us of human presence within the immensity of the mountains. Towering above all is the dramatic mountain range itself, painted in fiery hues of orange, red, sienna, and umber, with streaks of green woven into their rocky surfaces. These mountains radiate strength and power, their craggy peaks rising into the darkened sky. Their forms are not portrayed with rigid realism but with expressive abstraction, their ruggedness conveyed through sweeping brushstrokes and layered pigment.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING ***
