Crimean artist of the Soviet period. People's Artist of Ukraine, Honored Artist of Ukraine. Victor Tolochko was born on October 22, 1922 in the city of Melitopol, Zaporizhzhya region. In 1957 he graduated from the Kharkov Art Institute. Honorary Academician of the Crimean Academy of Sciences, laureate of the Crimean Autonomous Republic Prize, veteran of the Great Patriotic War, holder of orders of the Red Star, Glories of the third degree. In May 1999, he was included in the almanac "Life of the remarkable people of Crimea." A patriotic soldier, a true art worker. An outstanding master of thematic paintings, a masterly landscape painter, author of expressive still lifes.
