Written and directed by George Lucas and nominated in the Best Picture category for an Oscar, the film introduced us to Mark Hamill (as “Luke Skywalker”), Harrison Ford (as “Han Solo”), Carrie Fisher (as “Princess Leia”), Anthony Daniels (as “C-3PO”). Kenny Baker (as “R2-D2”) and a host of actors now very familiar faces to all movie fans. This superb lobby card would have been used in the foyer of a U.S. movie theatre. It shows Luke inspecting the Jawa’s droids – including R2-D2 – for use on his uncle’s moisture farm.
