S#: 7241, matches on receiver, bolt and stock | 25" Barrel | This rifle has been converted by NZ Arsenal into a .22 LR military training rifle | Top of the receiver and barrel are both stamped with NZ. Bolt has been marked .22. Magazine shell has been marked .22. Left side of receiver marked .22 and the right side of receiver now reads Crown/GR/1917 SHT.22/IV star | Right side of stock has a brass disc marked N ^ Z F8 24 2351. There is a crisp NZ cartouche stamp on right side of stock. There is also a NZ cartouche in front of the trigger guard | Comes with an original sling marked M.E.Co./1913 |||| CONDITION: Excellent. Nice original 95% blue military finish. Wood stock is excellent and solid with appropriate battle wear. Mechanically functions. Bore is very good.
