Vintage Sterling Wire Wrapped Black Glass Pendant/Necklace, 18"-20", 1980's-1990's. THis is a black stone that is believed to be glass, oval and highly domed with muted swirls. The stone is appx. 18mm by 15mm. It is artfully wrapped in wire that is testing as sterling. It has a tight wrap around the stone with band accents holding the strands of wire tight against the stone and then wider twisted wrapped wire that create scrolls at the top and a bail as well. There is a dangle faux pearl with glass black beads. That is not a sterling wire by a silver plated. 2.75" tall and 1" wide. It is a handwrapped design. It was purchased in the west by a woman and her husband that traveled to the west. She collected all types of stone and southwestern and Native American jewelry. She had a love of natural stone jewelry and Native American pieces and Southwestern modern as well. Very good condition. It is not signed by the maker. (SY25.5 SS17121 J LD 1/4/26).
