Vintage Sterling Butterfly Brooch, Scrolled, 1-1/8" wide and 3/4" tall. Filigree design with the look when first viewing that it could have marcasites stones, but it does not - simply a mix of smoth and texted designs that create the era look to the brooch. The wings are slightly higher than the torso - just how a butterfly looks when sitting on a leaf. It is marked sterling, tested, and tests as sterling. Weight is appx. 3.54 gr. Age is 1950's-1960's. Very good condition. The pin on back has a slight bend but sits and locks in the clasp. Not signed by the maker. (W12321.5 SS6633 AZ LEB* LD 3/2/22).
