Made by F.H. Adams & Co, each piece is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1923.
The set includes a hand mirror, two hairbrushes, and two clothes brushes — all featuring rich faux tortoiseshell panels inlaid with silver pique wreath motifs.
The sterling silver mounts are finely shaped and clearly stamped.
The mirror retains its original bevelled glass, while the brushes are fitted with natural bristles.
The faux tortoiseshell exhibits a beautiful mottled pattern typical of the period.
