Condition Report:
of oval form with slightly flared sides, the body engraved with bright-cut borders and a band of oval medallions enclosing floral sprays, interspersed with scrolling foliage; centred to each side with a vacant cartouche within a laurel wreath. The hinged cover with reeded rim and urn-form finial, the spout of slender, tapering form, and a curved wooden handle, raised on an associated oval stand, by Hestor Bateman, London 1788, with gadrooned border and four reeded bracket feet
