They have as a base a miniature stool typical of the tribe
These statuettes, generically called Iginga, are used within the Bwami, an association which organized the social structure and ensured the stability of the community.
The Lega are a forest people Bantu of Central Africa, established in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), in the provinces of South Kivu and Maniema
