Large and unique wooden pipe with bone figures from the Lega tribe of DR Congo. The pipe is a prestigious object, essentially male, that indicates the rank of its owner. They can sometimes reach important dimensions. Most of the time they are not smoked in, they are objects of ceremony or prestige. The bowl and pipe reed represent two human heads, the body is covered with nails. The part where to smoke from is not fairly attached to the pipe anymore. Large and heavy piece, 72 cm. Weight: 5000 gram!
