This lot contains a pair of US $5 Silver Certificates from Series 1934 C (Fr. 1653) and Series 1934 D (Fr. 1654). Both notes feature blue serial numbers and a blue Treasury seal, signifying they were payable in silver to the bearer on demand. The 1934 C note bears the Julian-Snyder signatures (Serial M34302046 A), while the 1934 D note features the Clark-Snyder signatures (Serial R52878825 A). Plate markings, serving as the mint markings for these issues, include C 2062 and J 1896.
