High rounded edge, the field as a trefoil, the top formed with the extensions of the border and the base a depressed center leaf form. The trefoil was a favorite Viking form. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Good preservation and detail.
