The original garment pin which was patented two millennia later as the " safety pin" �. High ridged arched frame with transverse bar decoration and nub finial. Fastened at the shoulder and serving as jewelry as well as a garment fastener. Bronze, over 1 1/4" length, of elegant form, with fine patina. Pin lacking.
