Description
Jeanette Pasin Sloan's photorealistic paintings can be seen in the collections of museums such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Smithsonian's Renwick Gallery, and the Art Institute of Chicago. Sloan is accomplished as a painter as well as a printmaker. The daughter of Italian immigrants, Sloan attended Marymount College and obtained her MFA from the University of Chicago. Her father founded the renowned Radio Flyer company which produced the beloved Radio Flyer wagon. Sloan was so dedicated to her career that she would put her young children to bed by 7pm each evening so she could paint in the studio of her small home--which happened to be her kitchen table. Sloan painted the reflective surfaces in the objects in her kitchen, which led to her continued passion of painting the metalic, china, and brightly colored patterns in her compositions. Sloan is without equal in her trompe l'oeil abilities. We do not offer in-house shipping but you can arrange your own by contacting one of these four trusted shippers who can deliver your artworks to you safely and fully insured.
