Description
Fatima Ronquillo (born 1976) is a Filipino-American self-taught painter celebrated for her evocative, classically inspired works that blend techniques of European old masters with elements of magical realism rooted in folk and colonial Latin American traditions.Born in San Fernando, Philippines, Ronquillo emigrated with her family to the United States in 1987, settling in San Antonio, Texas. She began exhibiting her work as a teenager and has since developed a distinctive visual language of imagined characters?often solitary figures in serene or symbolic landscapes?that reflect narratives drawn from literature, mythology, and personal memory. We do not offer in-house shipping but you can arrange your own by contacting one of these four trusted shippers who can deliver your artworks to you safely and fully insured.
