Ericka Walker (born June 16, 1981) is an American contemporary artist and printmaker known for her large-scale lithographs and graphic works that engage with the visual language of early- to mid-20th-century posters and propaganda. She was born in Hartford, Wisconsin, and trained in studio art and printmaking, earning a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin?Madison and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Tennessee.Walker?s work critically investigates the vernacular histories of print and graphic media, using bold imagery and techniques to explore themes such as nationalism, labor, mechanized warfare, and agricultural and industrial mythologies. Her practice often subverts nostalgic propaganda styles to question cultural narratives and assumptions around identity and power. We do not offer in-house shipping but you can arrange your own by contacting one of these four trusted shippers who can deliver your artworks to you safely and fully insured.
