Excellent Heisei Era Japanese 4-Panel painted Byobu (folding screen) depicting Sake making. Yamato-E style. Signed and sealed by artist. Title: "Sake Brewery". Gold powder mist, gouache, watercolor and ink on paper. Silk brocade border. Lacquered brown wood frame with engraved metal corners and plaques. Paper on back. Japan, Heisei Era, circa 1990-2019. Excellent condition - no damage to the painting nor back, minimal age wear to the the frame, strong hinges, clean, sturdy. This byobu had one owner in the past, and if it wasn't in storage for years, then it was displayed standing on a long cabinet (there are no holes on the back from hangers).
