COMPOSITION SIGNED JEAN LE MOAL
Oil on canvas. Signed, dated and inscribed ‘Jean le Moal -88-’. Jean Le Moal (1909 – 2007) was a French painter of the new Paris school, designer of stained glass windows, and one of the founder members of the Salon de Mai. Le Moal creates an architectural and fragmented space with intense chromaticism in which one can feel the contributions of Cubist and Fauve revolutions.
