Title: BROKEN, UNLISTED - Large Vintage Neon Marquee Letter "C" From Pan American Audit Description: Own a piece of Los Angeles history. This large neon marquee letter "C" comes from the Pan-Pacific Theater which was adjacent to and connected to the Pan-American Auditorium. The neon is broken and will need top be replaced. The owner Harvey Schwartz purchased the letters in 1984 before the theater was demolished in September of that year. Please reference the last photo of the Pan-Pacific Theater to see the letters on display. After this starting in 1984, these letters were used as set dressing for many movies and were rented by 20th-Century props for almost 40 years with some being repainted. All retain their original neon which still works if connected to the correct high voltage ballast. Each letter seats on a sheet metal frame, for protection, and each has a bright color as shown in the first picture. Each letter measures 22.5 inches wide, by 29 inch high, by about 3.5 inches in dept.
