The Barn displays a sign reading Blacksmith all constructed in a brutalist fashion from flame-cut copper & brass with burn marks and rough edges. Signed Curtis Jere, a pseudonym for the artistic partnership of Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels, is celebrated for his innovative metal sculptures that blend abstract forms with dynamic movement. Active from the 1960s, their works often feature intricate designs and a distinctive mid-century modern aesthetic, adding a touch of elegance and creativity to any space.
