A UNIQUE AND VISUALLY STRIKING FRAMED DISPLAY OF A TECHNICAL DRAFTING LAYOUT, TITLED "FLARING ARTICLES," FROM THE MATHEWS INSTITUTE, DATED 1957. THE COMPOSITION INCLUDES AN ORIGINAL INK DRAWING ON PAPER OF GEOMETRIC ELEVATION AND PATTERN DESIGNS, PROFESSIONALLY MOUNTED WITH VINTAGE DRAFTING INSTRUMENTS SUCH AS COMPASSES, PENCIL POINTER, RULER, TRIANGLE, AND ERASERS. THESE ELEMENTS ARE ARRANGED IN A THREE-DIMENSIONAL SHADOWBOX PRESENTATION.THE LAYOUT IS SIGNED BY THE DRAFTER CARLTON TILLEY AND DATED 1957, CAPTURING THE PRECISION AND ARTISTRY OF MID-CENTURY INDUSTRIAL DRAFTING PRACTICE.
