Encapsulated silk brocade fragment, approximately 1" x 1", from a White House loveseat likely installed during Theodore Roosevelt’s 1902 renovation and removed in 1954 under First Lady Mamie Eisenhower. Accompanied by copies of provenance paperwork. The fabric, labeled with White House delivery and frame details, once covered a loveseat believed to have resided in the State Dining or Green Room. Encapsulated by CAG to 2.375" x 3.375".
