John F. Kennedy Swatch from Personally Worn Swim Trunks (CAG Encapsulated)

Description

A 1.5" x .75" swatch cut from a pair of swimming trunks personally worn by President John F. Kennedy. Encapsulated by CAG to an overall size of 2.375'' x 3.375''. Originally gifted to Lt. Henry Hirschy, who served as White House Supply and Logistics Officer and Officer in Charge of the Navy Mess during the Kennedy administration. The trunks were later sold in Guernsey’s "The Kennedy Era" auction. A neat example of JFK’s personal attire.
