THE FACULTY (1998) - Alien Creature Maquette - An alien creature maquette from Robert Rodriguez's The Faculty. New student Marybeth Hutchinson (Laura Harris) revealed herself to be the alien queen after she attacked Stokely Mitchell (Clea DuVall) and rose out of the pool as a tentacled monster. Maquettes such as this were created to develop the design of the alien queen and act as a visual aid reference to help plan the special effects needed to bring the monster to life.

This lot consists of one hand-painted resin maquette. It has undergone sympathetic restoration to reattach a mandible on the right side. This lot exhibits pitting in the resin, cracks in the tentacles, and chipped ends. Dimensions: 20" x 17" x 16.5" (51 cm x 43.25 cm x 42 cm)
