About the artist: Born October 22, 1922 in Melitopol (now Zaporizhzhya region). Graduated from the Kharkov Art Institute (1957). Teachers by profession - O. Kokel, S. Besedin, O. Lyubimsky. Member of the CPSU. He worked in the field of easel painting. Major works: "Defenders of the Brest Fortress", "Nurse * (1960)"; Kazantiyska Bay ", portrait of the poet V. Matveev (1963)"; Silence "(1968) and others. Participated in republican exhibitions since 1960. He was awarded a medal. He died on November 13, 2006.
