About the artist: Born October 30, 1907 in Odessa. Studied: "Odessa Art Institute" (1928-1931). Teacher by specialty - M. Gronets. He worked in the industry of easel painting. Taught: at preparatory courses. Odessa. (1931-1941). Member of the CPSU. Member of World War II. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star, medals, diploma of the Presidium of the Verkhovna Rada of the Ukrainian SSR. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1935, all-union since 1947, foreign since 1965. Important exhibitions "All-Union Art Exhibition". Moscow. 1947; "All-Union Art Exhibition." Moscow. 1950. The main works: "Spain" (1936); "The Feat of a Sailor" (1949); "Liberation" (1957); "On the front road" (1960); "Dnieper. 1943 "(1964) and others. He lived and worked in Odessa. He died in 1986.
