Description:This is a magnificent double-page map of northern Italy, centered on Lombardy's Milan (Milano). The map covers from Genoa (Genova) in the south, to the Lake District in the north, showing all lakes from Garda to Maggiore and beyond, from Vercelli in the west to Parma, Medina and Verona in the east. This map also identifies some battles. There is a fantastic amount of detail as to topography, rivers, lakes, roads, small villages, towns, walled cities, etc. Dated 1702 in the very nice cartouche with eagle, globe and a town plan is shown.

Very Good. Nice strike on thicker laid paper. Slight staining mostly in the margins, light edge browning. Hand color. Issued centerfold.
