Title:19th C Opaline Glass Dresser Bowl

Size:4 in (10.2 cm) diameter x 2 1/2 in (6.4 cm) tall.

Description:A glass dresser box with delicately hand-painted daisies and a ribbed body and by the Smith Brothers for Mount Washington Glass company.

A glass container with a pale cream-colored outer body and a white inner body has been hand painted with daisies that circle the body. The rim is gilded.

The foot is shallow and rounded. A hallmark of a shield with a lion rampant is stamped in red on the base with the word TRADEMARK below.

MEASUREMENTS
4 in (10.2 cm) diameter x 2 1/2 in (6.4 cm) tall. Weighs 7.9 oz.

CONDITION
There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs. There are a few very tiny rim frits, light wear to the gilding along the rim, and an enamel loss in the center of one daisy. The box is missing a lid.
