Title:1950s Swan Planter Maddux California Pottery

Size:7 1/2 in (19.0 cm) long x 4 1/2 in wide x 10 3/4 in tall.

Description:A large, colorful and fun ceramic planter in the shape of a swimming swan from Maddox California pottery. It has been spray painted with pink, yellow and black glazes. The planter interior is an off white. The base is unglazed.

A molded and glazed mark near the base reads MADE in USA.

MEASUREMENTS
7 1/2 in (19.0 cm) long x 4 1/2 in wide x 10 3/4 in tall. Weighs 1 lb 3.3 oz (550 g)

CONDITION
The glazes are fresh and bright, and there are no breaks, cracks, or chips. There are a few paces on the swan's right breast where the pink glaze was smeared during manufacture.

A very pink Maddux swan to fit in with your vintage color scheme.
