Title:White Victorian Food Mold Wheat Sheaf

Size:7 1/2 in (19.1 cm) long x 5 1/2 in (14.0 cm) wide x 3 1/2 in (8.9 cm) tall.

Description:A very heavy white ironstone ceramic food mold with a wheat sheaf design in the well and a fluted edge along the sides of the interior.

The white glaze has crazed and taken on brown tones from usage. Where the glaze has pooled in the inner surface, it has taken on a grayish tone. The base is flat and unglazed. There are no marks or labels.

MEASUREMENTS

7 1/2 in (19.1 cm) long x 5 1/2 in (14.0 cm) wide x 3 1/2 in (8.9 cm) tall. Weighs 2 lbs 8.8 oz (1160 g)

CONDITION

There are no breaks, cracks, or repairs. There looks like a few tiny chips on the edge of the well above the wheat sheaf, and a black scratch on the outer base edge. The glaze is crazed with some brown stains from age and use.

A fun design to add to a Victorian collection or to use to decorate the kitchen.
