About the artists: Painter, graphic artist, art critic.Rabotyagov Nikolai Pavlovich was born on August 30, 1924 in the village. Shisheno, Belgorod region, Russia.Participant and disabled person of the Great Patriotic War.From 1947 to 1953 he studied at the Kharkov State Art Institute with A. Kokel and S. Besedin.Since 1952 he begins to participate in art exhibitions. Participant of regional, republican and all-Union exhibitionsRabotyagov N.P. is a member of the Kharkov branch of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1971.The artist's personal exhibitions took place: in 1984 and 1985 in the city of Chuguev (Kharkov region), in 1984 and 1985 in the city of Lozovaya (Kharkov region), in 1985 and 1997 in the city of Kharkov, in 1997 in the village. Parkhomovka (Kharkiv region).From 1960 to 1987 Nikolai Pavlovich Rabotyagov worked as director of the Kharkov Art Museum.Author of magazine and newspaper articles on the creativity of pre-revolutionary and contemporary artists of Kharkov, guidebooks, booklets and the album "Kharkov Art Museum".The artist's works are kept in museums, galleries and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
