Anglo Saxon, gilt bronze, size a little over 9 ½ with 2.4mm rounded face band and oval bezel with five dot motifs in an asymmetrical arrangement, likely with astrological significance. See Ancient Rings, Pollio, p.42 for another example, where the author states that the pattern had spiritual significance, now lost. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored, for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
