Description

Size 8 ¾. Gilt bronze with (2.2mm) flat face band. Raised lenticular form bezel with faint punched pattern. A signet ring that could be impressed and compared to an impression on a document, clay tablet, or merchant's seal. Aside from the permanence of the impression, most people were illiterate. Worn with a surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
