Cambridgeshire, England, 866-1067 AD, Oval form, size 9 ½. 2.0mm at the bottom swelling to 3.5mm at the top. The top half is a deeply modeled roped motif. The spiral or helix was a favorite Viking form. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored. Vikings exchanged wedding rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
