The bowl is made in the pattern named Emaille Rose or Enamel Rose, which is a Chinoiserie pattern featuring rich green vines against a famille rose pink enamel ground. Breaking up the pink and green are auspicious peach shaped reserves with colorful flowers hand painted inside, while the center is done in a stylized floral design. The dish has a wide reticulated rim, done in a fabulous openwork design with fine gold gilt detailing. This bowl measures about 10 7/8 inches in diameter.
