Persia, 20th century. Wool on wool, 211 cm x 151 cm. The ivory-colored central field is dominated by a large, multi-faceted central medallion in warm brown and ocher tones, interwoven with rich tendrils, palmettes, and delicate floral motifs. The harmoniously coordinated border in muted blue with floral ornaments effectively frames the field and gives the carpet an elegant depth effect. The condition is good, with some slight soiling in the pile. The fringes are in very good condition.
