DEBUSSY, CLAUDE
Autograph letter signed to his publisher Georges Hartmann. [Paris]: Mardi, 22 Novembre, [18]98. 5 1/2 x 4 3/8 inches (14 x 11 cm); 11 lines in purple ink plus date, salutation and felicitation on a pneu form stamped or inked with Debussy's monogram, the verso with Hartmann's name and address. Rather faded but still legible. Not examined out of frame.
The recipient was Romain-Jean-François "Georges" Hartmann, a librettist and publisher who was (from 1894) an early supporter of the young composer.
