Title:Vintage 14kt Triple Ruby/Spinel Ring, Sz. 5.5 to 9, 1940's-1960's

Description:Vintage 14kt Triple Ruby/Spinel Ring, Sz. 5.5 to 9, 1940's-1960's. This is an interesting ring in that the three stones are set separately and the middle one is on a bad that can be pushed in to make the ring smaller and pulled open to make it at least a size 9. It was sold at a reputatable auction as ruby however it is testing more in the spinel range on the Presidium Gem Tester II. Each stone is appx. 2.5mm round. The ring tests as 14kt gold and has a weight of appx. 2.54 grams. The ring is appx. 10.3mm wide at top where the three stones are in a row and tapers down to appx. 2mm at the back of the finger. Two of the stones have an old cut with the shorter table, one is more modern with the wider table. It is not marked or signed. Very good condition. (AZ2326.23X SS17402 J LD 2/17/26)
