Title: Vintage Sterling Southwestern Cuff Bracelet, Signed E. Jackson, Navajo, 1960's-1970's Description: Vintage Sterling Southwestern Cuff Bracelet, Signed E. Jackson, Navajo, 1960's-1970's. 6.75". Eugene Jackson was born in 1932 in Jeddito, Arizona. After high school, he served in the US Army during the Korean War. He learned to make jewelry from Kenneth Begay at Navajo Community College and worked making jewelry. This cuff bracelet has three bands at top center. The end two are slightly domed and smooth and the center is a twisted design. The top of the bracelet is appx. 23.7mm at the stone as it is measured going down the wrist. The width of the stone and setting is appx. 19mm. The stone is a medium to dark green with shimmery white accents and black running through the stone and is appx. 18mm by 13mm and set raised on a bezelw ith a wider base with beaded and cut details. The design covers the top fo the wrist and ends at 5mm down the back sides of the wrist. The opening at the back of the cuff is appx. 1.25". You can open it wider - but always take care as repeated movements can stress the silver over time. This is best for a wrist not over 7". It easily slides over the side of the wrist for easy wear at those measurements. It is marked sterling and tests as sterling with a weight of appx. 14.49 grams. Very good condition.
