  • Description: Vintage Sterling Southwestern Turquoise Necklace with Coral, 15" 1980's-1980's. This has tubular sterling beads that are appx. 1mm wide with a 3.5mm round red coral bead on each side of the turtle pendant with a single slightly over 1mm round bead on each side of the coral bead. The turtle tests as sterling with an appx. 6mm by 4.5mm oval red coarl stone set into the shell and sticks up out of that. The turtle is appx. 3/4" tall and slightly over 1/2". The chain and the turtle test as sterling - the barrel clasp, does not. Weight is appx. 5.18 grams. This piece is likely a hand made piece where someone designed the necklace and strung it from ready-made sterling component parts. It is not marked or signed. Very clean and in very good condition.
