A Victorian gilt metal table inkstand,

in the form of a rose bush in a jardinere, the circular base cast with bands of foliate ornament and anthemion motifs, surmounted by a domed cover supporting a naturalistically modelled spray of roses and leaves. The cover opening to reveal a fitted interior with a glass inkwell and a pierced gilt-metal sander or pounce pot cover, with a central hinged compartment
Together with a pair of faux marble 'Chatsworth Lions',
After Canova, each modelled in the classical manner, the lion recumbent with forepaws extended and head slightly turned, the mane deeply carved and falling in layered curls, raised on a stepped rectangular plinth, the front of each base mounted with a circular foliate boss in dark metal, verso inscribed 'House Parts® 2007'
