DURRELL LAWRENCE: (1912-1990) British novelist, poet, dramatist and travel writer. Signed and inscribed colour 4.5 x 5.5 candid photograph of Durrell standing in a three-quarter length pose. An ink annotation to the verso indicates that the photograph was taken in Paris on 14th June 1985 by autograph collector Serge Tamagnot of Paris, and also bears his credit stamp. Signed by Durrell in black ink to a lighter area of the background and dated 1st May 1986 in his hand. Accompanied by the original envelope hand addressed by Durrell. VG
