GERMAN RAILROAD EAGLE

Description

German railroad eagle, measuring approx. 27.5 x 15 inches. The front shows a spread-winged political German eagle clutching a swastika; the reverse shows four mounting holes. These eagles were supposed to be mounted on railcars of the Deutsche Reichsbahn. Aluminum cast, reference piece, post-war production.
