Circa 1880 Victorian Period gouache and pastel landscape painting with cabin and snow. Signed lower right corner " DeFord". Period frame with an illegible Philadelphia framer's paper label to verso. Water mark damage to mat, small chip to lower frame, and brown mold on inside glass. Painting appears to be in good condition. Measures 27 inches wide x 1 x 37 inches tall. From the Historic Ingles Castle Estate Radford, Virginia.
